Where did you run nslookup? Looks like as if you are on a server and not on a client. Sat, Jan 26 at am You must be logged in to reply to this topic. Keep me signed in. Log In. Improve this answer. Thank you for your reply Chris McKeown. I run rendom from server computer but there was not any problem during the operatinos. After renamin domain I created a zone for new domain too. What machine is that? PC, lappy or MAC etc? LAN or wireless? What OS? Any malware or "speedup PC", "search tool bar" or "search tool" installed? Martin This person is a verified professional.

What is the Domain Functional Level of the domain you are trying to join? I am officially out of ideas, without being there. Best of luck. The firewall is and has been disabled at all times. The Server should be statically assigned. Please ensure that is correct. Please ensure that the domain name that you are attempting to connect to is correct. Please verify the workgroup name. If the name of the workgroup is the same as the domain which you are attempting to join. You will have to modify the workgroup name to"Workgroup" restart your computer then attempt to join the server to the domain. Please ensure that your server is pointing to the correct DNS Server.

You ca simply type nslookup in the command prompt and this will populate your Name Resolution Server. Thank you, Aaron Griffin. Tuesday, April 14, PM. Tuesday, April 21, AM.
