The estate I got it from said I was the first person to open the case in probably 40 or so years. Handle is unraveling.

I was in band in High School in the mid to late 90's. Around my clarinet was stolen at the school. My parents could not afford a newer clarinet again after everything they spent on the stolen one. So we found a mom and pop music store that sold all manners of instruments. The best deal we could get was with this vintage Noblet clarinet. It was very old when we bought it, but it did work to some degree. I have no idea if it still plays now, it needs some extensive work.
New pads, cork, and a look over on all the keys. The barrel joint is not a Noblet piece, it is a Selmer piece. It was like that when we bought it. The mouthpiece was new at the time I believe also. In other words this is sort of like a Frankenstein But, I do believe this will make a nice refurbished project for clarinet collectors. This instrument has a lot of history to it and will make a great addition. The serial number is the same on the upper and lower joints too, it is- I only accept paypal and there are no returns.

She took lessons as a young woman in Calculating back she said her grandmother got it in the early s when she learned lessons. She didn't know if it was new or not then. The upper section and the bell. The mouth piece is marked Noblet-Paris,France. It comes complete in its original case. The mouth piece comes with a silver colored Ligature and mouth piece cover.
It comes with a reed in plastic case but needs replaced. All cork fittings look very good with no cracks or broken off pieces. The keys all seem to work well. All pieces are very good with no cracks or broken parts. The mouth piece end has some very small teeth marks on it. The case has two side flip latches. It has wear to the exterior with loose stitching and a small piece of material missing from the bottom of the case.
The handle is secure and the latches work well. The handle has worn off material to the center of it. The interior The clarinet is in very good condition. Very cool early piece.
