Are you sure you want to proceed? If the drive letter has changed, change it back to the letter Lightroom Classic expects. Click the Locate button, navigate to where the photo is currently located, and then click Select. If the Adobe application folder exists, drag it to Trash. By default, the folders are located in the Applications folder on the hard disk. For example, drag the Acrobat folder to Trash. Apr 27, The Mac operating system does have a control panel. Most general system configuration is done here.
To remove and application, most of the time you just drag that application from its current location to the trash. Go to Applications in Finder and Control-click an app you want to uninstall. Move to the Trash. Send the app you want to uninstall to the Trash, then open Bin and empty it. Search for app leftovers. Remove app leftovers. Step 1. Click on Control Panel. Navigate to Programs. Click on Programs and Features. Locate the piece of software you wish to uninstall.
Huge memory leak on XP. After working in 2. On my primary photography computer, a desktop Mac G5, adjustment brushes were so unresponsive that they were almost unusable and I was forced to juggle files to my Intel MacBookPro to use this feature. The new release seems to have totally resolved this issue and the adjustment brush feature is now very responsive on my older machine.
Nice improvement Adobe! Thank you, Howard! Like Nick, I was having a heck of a time trying to find the beta files.
All is well now and the frustration has ended! Nick, you probably started at your user account instead of the Macintosh HD. Your user account has the same path with no calibration files at the end. I am trying to delete the beta profiles, and when I navigate to the CameraProfiles folder as directed, there are no beta files folders, only and index.
Any suggestions? Working great here! What gives? I am shooting with a Minolta 7D and a Sony a I convert o DNG on download using Lightroom.
Am i doing something wrong here or is this anomalous behavior by LR? I have a Pentax K10D. How am I supposed to know which camera profile to use?
The fix for moving photographs between subfolders is going to help my sanity. The process works as expected now. Hi Matt, I downloaded and installed LR 2. I am in Mac OSX I already tried reinstalling, and also deleting prefs files, no avail. Ana remember me from the Art Institute Fort Lauderdale, ?
Perhaps if I had more memory or was working with larger files it would be more apparent I shoot compressed bit NEF with a D and the files run around MB.
I believe LR2 runs in bit mode on an Intel Mac by default. When is Adobe going to provide a patch for updates and not for the consumer to download the whole blooming program again… the same goes for Apple with iTunes?????
Just a royal pain in the bleep!! I am having massive memore problems on Lr 2. The memory just fills up and after a while the os starts to swap which makes things incredibly slow. I noticed in the 2. Do you have any experience doing this? Its allegedly a lot faster. Not sure of its stability though. Howard beat me to it. If you remove the beta profiles LR will automatically switch to the corresponding release profile. Since applying camera calibration is the first thing I do in my work flow, if there was a change between the release and beta it may impact everything else that I did.
You may want to experiment with your photos first before removing anything. From what I have read you can keep the beta profiles indefinitely. To uninstall the camera profiles, look here. It gives much better colors right from the start, and exposure is also better. Harold — info on deleting older profiles is here. Regarding previous post I was asking how to get rid of the earlier Camera Profile versions. I now have 3 camera profile versions showing in the pull down.
Hey folks, I updated to 2. I already had downloaded the camera profiles for 2.
